How does SysTrack keep my systems more secure?

Lakeside Software's SysLock product is designed to allow administrators the ability to limit programs which may be executed on a computer system. In limiting which programs a user may execute, this greatly reduces the threat posed by certain types of applications which may become resource intensive, or distract from a user's day-to-day mode of operation. This product does not replace any other security measures, but adds another layer of defense.

Change Information
Security often requires knowing what changes have been made to a system. SysTrack automatically traces any hardware or software related change; allowing administrators to have access to the data when it is needed most. Provide auditors with html change reports; and user audits as to whom may have been responsible for the change.

In addition, two systems are built the same; why are they not performing similarly? Execute configuration management reports to differentiate all hardware and software related differences between two systems or two profiles.

Audit Logs
Produce reports based on any event log entry; what time they were initiated, how many occurrences, and on which systems.

Web Restriction
Lakeside Software's WebLock is designed to allow administrators the ability to limit websites viewed on a system. Remember, due to the local agent, the security set forth for web restriction, will be maintained even if the user is not on the network.

With WebLock, you can create an inclusive list of sites, that can be visited. Or you can create a list of sites that may not be visited. In either case you can have the user redirected to another webpage away from the site they were trying to access.
