SysTrack Agent Deployment & Planning
The deployment of SysTrac® agents is a very simple process. On any system you wish to collect data, simply drag and drop the desired system from the "discovered systems directory" into the SysTrack hierarchy. That is the entire process for deploying a SysTrack agent! All SysTrack functionality is a bi-product of this simple drag and drop.

Deployment planning is contingent upon administrator needs. SysTrack administrators can specify when and where agents should be deployed through an automated process. Administrators can set up multiple SysTrack trees (for distributed locations) and then uplink the trees to a top level "master system" if desired.

SysTrack agent deployment is very flexible and can be accomplished in minutes.
How do I deploy agents to child systems?
SysTrack Agents can be deployed in a number of methods. The most common is through the Deployment tool and a push deployment. You can also run a command line script from child systems via a pull deployment. Utilize a software distribution tool such as Microsoft SCCM.

SysTrack gives you the options to install agents based on the needs of your organization.
Can I schedule the time for my agent deployment?
The Deployment Tool has a time window that is built into the product that will allow you to deploy agents during the time you choose. You determine the days and the hours that agents are allowed to be install on your systems.

Choose to install 24 hours a day. Choose to install Monday Through Friday from 9am to 5pm only. Choose to install only on Sunday nights between the hours of 3 and 4 am. Make your own schedule. The choice is up to you.
